Prolonged stress can result to harm in health conditions of the teacher. It can result in low motivation level and low performance. There are various models developed to understand stress. These are the engineering model, medical model and interactive model. Engineering model focuses on the workload put on the individual, the medical model has its focus on physiological and psychological responses that lead to stressful conditions like depression, tension and others and the third is an interactive model which states that each individual has a different way to deal with particular situations.
